There is no true definition or guidelines for art in the
environment. Each piece of artwork is different depending
on its location, materials and construction. What one person
may consider as environmental art, may be considered an eye
sore to another. A common purpose of environmental art is
to inspire people to think, feel or appreciate the surrounding
environment differently.
