Maria Huhmarniemi, M.A. (Art) made snow castles in her yard and dug caves in snow-packed ditches as child. Her work in The Snow Show Education Project in the Department of Art Education at the University of Lapland has made it possible for her to concentrate on winter art and winter art projects almost full time.
